Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to release Miraval rosé

We are delighted that this Valentine’s Day brings the news of the release of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s adventure in wine with Miraval rosé! The grapes were sourced from the 1,000 acre organic estate Chateau Miraval in France, which Angelina and Brad purchased in 2011 and the wine should become available this March. The rosé had been called “Pink Floyd” for past releases since the rock band Pink Floyd had recorded an album in the chateau’s studio.

We have been waiting for any hint of a wine release since we first heard of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s move to France and the leasing of the breathtaking estate Chateau Miraval in 2008.

The label will have the names Jolie-Pitt and Perrin. The Perrin’s owns Chateau Beaucastel in the Chateauneuf-du- Pape region in France. Miraval rosé reportedly has flavors of strawberry and raspberry with floral notes. White and red wines are in the cards for future releases from the celebrity couple and the winemaker.

How do you think their wine will taste?

We think it will have the elegance and panache they bring to the red carpet.

Heady flavors of strawberry and raspberry.

The adventurous spirit of Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider.

The longstanding history like Brad Pitt as Achilles in Troy.

And of course the wine will be smart & sexy just like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
