Hello Nancy and thanks for stopping by! We are on the Central Coast and not too far from the wineries. Yes you do have wonderful Pinot Noir in Portland! We have a couple favorites from that region as well. Cheers!

Hello, Judit and Corina! It is clearly evident how much you two enjoy being around one another. Ya’ll’s (yes, I’m from Texas) zest for life an passion for food and wine is inspiring. I truly envy you guys… I would love to start a food blog with my mom, who in my opinion, is the best cook I know. She only cooks Korean food, and while I beg her to write down her scrumptious recipes, it never happens. I don’t know if it’s a Korean thing, but they say it’s all about feel. I’ve grown up watching, no stalking her in the ktichen so I can somewhat imitate her dishes. Anyway, I look forward to following and learning more about wine and food pairings!

Thank you for your kind comment Min! Your mom must be a wonderful cook. We love Korean food, and had to smile when you mentioned about your mom never writing down the recipes. Perhaps it is world wide… our mother in law / grandma in Germany cooked from feel and memory and when asked about a recipe she just said, “a pinch of this and a little hand full of that”. We are so thankful to our mom/grandma and aunt in Hungary for giving us many old recipes and looking forward to share them here soon.
      Cheers,
      J+C

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog! It’s really nice to know your blog, it’s lovely!
I cook with my mom too sometimes, but it looks like you guys did a really good job!

I loving drinking wine myself and I always try to find the right wine to go with the food. California has really nice wine. Although it’s expensive here in my city, but I still will order a nice bottle of Merlot if I got a chance.
Just followed your blog on Facebook and Pinterest. Hope to see more delicious recipes and videos. :)
